Take a bottle of holy water, and put into it sugar and Van Van oil. Then put a piece of paper with your lost lover's name written on it 9 times into the water, and stash the bottle someplace in your home.

I don't know a lot about Haitian Voodoo -- though I will say a lot of people who claim to practice it really don't, it just draws more customers if you claim you do since it has a reputation for power, and most customers don't know the difference between voodoos or hoodoos or Enochian magick for that matter.
Can you give more details for how you found the guy, what he did, etc?
