Does anyone know anything about candle divination? I burn white candles daily and over the past month i have noticed 2 similar shapes that 2 white candles have left after i burned them. The candles usually burn completely, wax and all, but these 2 times it did not. The wax settled on my entertainment center. This happened when I burned a white tapered candle in a candlestick and once when i burned a tea light candle.
The system for candle wax divination is similar to tea leaf reading -- in fact supposedly the shapes mean the same thing (though note, there isn't really a lot of consistency on what the tea leaf shapes mean either.) Personally, I'm really bad at it, and I only acknowledge them if something really stands out in the shape. If it doesn't look like anything at first glance then I just dispose of it.

If you got the same shape 2 times, assuming it's not just the burner the candles are in that's causing it (which from the sound of it might not be the case, as you indicate they were quire different sorts of candle) then that is probably something substantial. Either look at lists of tea leaf reading materials or else see if any particular meaning strikes you instantly (certain shapes tend to provoke fear, peace, joy, etc which may be good indicators of what's up.)

Some common events that are supposed to be meaningful in candle divination are:

*Pieces of wax breaking or falling off the candle mean that something is being removed from the situation. It's a good omen in breakup spells.

*If the candle burns very drippy, it means there will be a lot of hard work needed still (imagine drippings to be sweat.) Some people also say it indicates tears -- again, said to be a good omen in breakup spells.

*If the candle produces the shape of a ring (by burning a hole through a larger puddle of wax) that is generally a bad omen for anything but marriage spells, where a ring becomes a good omen.

*If you see shapes of plants or other natural objects, they indicate the nature of the situation. If you see animals, they mentalities of people involved. If you see shapes of people, then those are directly portraying people involved. Man-made objects indicate actions of people in the situation.
The only sure thing i noticed is something that looked like a sphere, sword. Nothing was dripping from the candlestick or the tea lite candle. There were puddles around both, only shape i can make, is clouds but both had like a long sphere or dagger pointing.
Well, like I said I'm kind of bad with shape divination, but I'd think a sword would either mean someone's attacking you or it's saying you need to defensively attack. Can I ask what the purpose of the candles was?
I have always burned white candles, but you are right, there is a woman trying to break up me and my boyfriend, his ex. We are using several products so what she is doing does not affect us. We haven't lite any reversible candles in several weeks but we will light some today. Thanks for all your help.
